CRIS, or Compendial Robotic Inspection System, is our cutting-edge inspection solution that provides flexible material handling capabilities and utilizes machine learning to inspect a wide range of product sizes and containers. The 7-axis robotic arms allow for recreation of nearly any manual inspection process.

This system is ideal for automated inspection of small batches and re-classification of AVI defects. It can outfeed parts inline or sorted into trays for further evaluation. The system integrates with AiME for full traceability of defect parts and data.

Vision tuning and optimization is performed and tested offline, reducing downtime for inspection recipe re-qualifications. Additionally, the machine's clearance and change part organization are simple, allowing for quick and efficient batch changeover.

The CRIS system can operate in fully-automatic inspection mode or in Semi-Automatic mode for assisting trained inspectors. The collaborative robot design allows for safe maneuverability in close proximity to operators.
